James Eddie Harris, Sr.

James Eddie Harris, Sr., 71, of Tillman, SC passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at his home.

James was born on December 12, 1948 in Guin, AL to the late James Elvis Harris and Annie Mae Webb Harris. He was a member of Tillman Baptist Church and enjoying fishing and shrimping.

James is survived by his son, James Eddie Harris, Jr. (Jeanine) of Pembroke, GA; daughter, Virginia Donahue (Kermit) of Tillman; brothers, Charles Harris (Lorraine) of El Paso, TX and Steve Harris (Carol) of Hamilton, AL; grandchildren, Thomas Hatchell, Tina Brown, Shelby Wright (Aaron), Kayleigh Newnum, and Jacob Newnum; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Smith Harris; daughter-in-law, Jamie Miranda Bailey Harris; brothers, Joe Harris and Randy Harris; and sisters, Nell Harris and Caroline Harris.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Tillman Baptist Church, 66 Cotton Hill Road, Tillman.
