James Bernard Marschall

James Bernard Marschall (Jim) of Sun City, SC, age 75, passed away on September 1, 2012. He was surrounded by his wife, Anne; his daughter Carolyn of Damascus, MD, and his grandsons Carl L. Marschall of Alexandria, VA and Brian J. MacNeil of Damascus, MD. His granddaughter, Lauren M. MacNeil of Baltimore, MD was with him spiritually. Jim also had two step-grandchildren, Victoria Daggan of Damascus, MD and Andrew L Daggan, Jr of Gulf Shores, AL. He is survived by a brother and four sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Mary Marschall in 1976, and his son-in-law, Andrew L. Daggan, Sr in 2011, and parents Agatha E. and Nicholas H. Marschall.Jim moved to Sun City with his wife Anne in 1999. He was an avid golfer and member of the Sun City Veterans Association; serving as a Sergeant in the Army during the Korean War. Jim was an alternate representative of his plat, Egret Cove, and was a recent recipient of the Annual Volunteer Award in 2011. Jim took great joy in helping the people of his neighborhood and anyone else in need. At one time, Jim was an active member of St. Anthony
