James F. Mcnamara

James F. McNamara, 80 of Bluffton, SC passed away on March 20, 2016 in the Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC. Mr. McNamara was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 23, 1935 to the late Francis A. McNamara and Elizabeth Kiely McNamara. Mr. McNamara retired as an Engineer from DuPont Corporation; a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church; founding member of Saint Gregory the Great Chapter Ancient Order of Hibernians where he served as Treasurer for several years; graduate of Villanova University; avid fan of Villanova athletics; enjoyed reading; member Forum Club and Money Talks. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Reuter McNamara of Bluffton; sons Christopher J. McNamara (Carol) of Williamsville, NY, Paul McNamara (Wendy) of Grand Island, NY, Laurence McNamara (Gina) of Webster, NY and Kevin McNamara (Rachael) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughters, Camille Harrington of Newark, Delaware and Ann Marie McNamara of Fairport, NY; brother, Thomas McNamara (Barbara) of Bluffton, SC; sisters, Carol Devlin (Thomas) of NJ, Elizabeth Moran (Edward) of Fort Myers, FL and Elinor Eggleton (Russ) of Falls Church, VA and eleven grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC.
