James Patrick O'Brien Jr., 73 of Bluffton passed away on October 24, 2015 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 9, 1942 to the late James Patrick O'Brien Sr. and Madeline Martin O'Brien. He was an Electrician and a member of IBEW. He was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church; a US Navy Veteran; a member of the Savannah Chapter Harley Owners Group; Umpire for the Sun City Softball League and Woody's Daddy.
He is survived by his brother, John M. O'Brien (Rita Marie) of Bluffton and two nephews, John "˜Jack' M. O'Brien Jr. (Tina) of Hammonton, NJ and Timothy Patrick O'Brien of Cherry Hill, NJ.
Memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton. The family will receive friends from 4 til 6, Monday, November 2, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. A Prayer service will be held at 5:30 pm.
