James Oliver Rollins

James Oliver Rollins, age 74 of Hardeeville passed away on October 23, 2018 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Mr. Rollins was born on December 18, 1943 in Port Wentworth, GA to the late Thomas Rollins and Harriett Benton Biscoe.

Mr. Rollins was a Machinist, tool and die maker; a veteran of the US Navy and US Army; member of Maye River Baptist Church and he enjoyed wood working and furniture making.

Mr. Rollins is survived by his wife, Varnneice Harper Rollins of Hardeeville; his daughters, Priscilla Hein (Rich) of Newtown, CT, Charlene Dombrowski of Monroe, CT and Debra Williams of Port Royal,SC; his son, Tommy Cooler of Hardeeville; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Rollins and his sister, Ellen Preston.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, Ridgeland with burial to follow in the Maye River Cemetery, Bluffton, SC.
