James E. Schaller

James Edward Schaller,age 86, of Okatie, SC died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Mr. Schaller was born on December 20, 1931 in Covington, Kentucky, the son of the late James Peter Schaller and Virginia Link Schaller. Mr. Schaller was a proud Naval Veteran of the Korean War. He graduated with a BS from Eastern Kentucky University and his Masters Degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He retired as an auditor with the Internal Revenue Service. He is survived by his loving wife, Billie, of almost 62 years; daughters, Jeanie (Tony) Browne of Union, KY; Denise (Albert) Taylor of Miami Heights, OH; Janet (Chuck) Lipps of Kailua-Kona, HI; grandchildren, James (Traci) Browne, Jeffrey (Stacey) Browne, and Gregory Browne, four great grandchildren and sister, Virginia “Mickey” Sanders.. He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter, Amelia Schaller and sister, Patricia Riley. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Beaufort Memorial Hospital Foundati0n, P.O.
