James Harold Way

James Harold Way, 75, of Beaufort, SC passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

James was born November 23, 1944 in Charleston, SC to the late William Jefferson Way, Jr. and Marion C. Way. A veteran of the Vietnam War, James was honorable discharged from the US Army in 1972. He was a member of Coosawhatchie Baptist Church.

James is survived by his son, Jimmy H. Way, Jr of Charleston, SC; brothers, M. Gerald Way (Debby) of Beaufort and William V. Way (Pennie) of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Kathy Shealy (Bob) of Lexington, SC; and two grandsons, Malachi Way and Jeremiah J. Way, both of Beaufort. He was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Mitchell Way and his brother, Larry M. Way.

The family will hold a private service.
