Jamey Alan Meek

Jamey A Meek 65, of Bluffton, South Carolina, passed away Saturday February 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Jamey was born August 17, 1956 in Los Angeles CA, the son of Kathleen Faye Daily and Jerry Theodore Meek. Following school Jamey enlisted in the Marine Corps where he proudly served his country. During his years of service Jamey received numerous medals and badges including his National Defense Service Medal and Expert Rifle Badge during the Vietnam War.

He dedicated his working years to traveling the country turning colleagues into friends in every Nuclear plant he stepped into. He truly loved his career and was the absolute best at what he did.

He was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Faye Daily,  father Jerry T Meek; brothers Rick Meek and Danny Crotts and honorary brother and friend Wayne Outlaw. Jamey is survived by his three daughters, Megan Adams( Steadman) of South Carolina, Amber Foster( Tyler) of Oregon,  and Olivia Herring of Arizona; Mom Bridget Davis, Siblings; Michael Meek( Heather) of Arizona, Kali Lee( Bobby) of Oklahoma, Johnny Watson( Susan) of California and Gregory Watson of California; Grandchildren, William and Grayson( Megan) and Gabe and Jade(Amber); and former wife and cherished friend Charlotte Faust.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday March 5th, 2022 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd Bluffton SC 29910. A military burial will follow Monday March 7th, 2022 at the Beaufort National Cemetery 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort SC 29902.
