In the early morning hours on August 15th, Jane Ann Rosenberg (June 5, 1934 - August 15, 2018) died at home, in her bed, with her husband of 62 years and her youngest son by her side. Jane was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the beloved daughter of George Lay Hardy and Antoinette Hardy (nee Voss). She graduated from St. Elizabeth’s Academy in 1952, went on to work as a Legal Secretary, and as a Flight Attendant during the glamorous days of air travel. From this point until she drew her last breath, Jane devoted her life to her family. Blessed with a sparkling sense of humor and an unending reservoir of kindness, Jane made life brighter for each person with whom she came into contact. She travelled extensively, and mastered the art of cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her two beloved dogs, Zipper and Peaches, who are no doubt wagging their tails and frolicking in happiness to see her. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Rosenberg, who selflessly and tirelessly cared for her during her final years. She is additionally survived by her eldest son David Gerard Rosenberg, her two daughters, Elizabeth Calovich and Eva Richey, and her youngest son, Jeremy Rosenberg. She was beloved by her daughters-in-law Colleen and Annetta, and her sons-in-law, John and Tim. She is also survived by her grandson Jack, granddaughters Katie and Eva, and her youngest grandson, T.C.
