Jane H. Trainor

Jane H. Trainor, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Wilbraham, MA died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Trainor was born on December 7, 1940 in NH, the daughter of the late John Howe and Dorothea Thompson Howe. She was a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH, earning a BS Degree in Medical Technology. She worked with Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer, MA for over 30 years, retiring as an Assistant Laboratory Manager. She was a member of the Junior League in Springfield, MA, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bluffton Historical Society as well as a Docent, and worked as a volunteer with the imaging center of Hilton Head Hospital. Mrs. Trainor is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert M. Trainor; son, Scott Robert Trainor (Johanna) of East Longmeadow, MA; daughter, Elizabeth Anne Roth (Michael) of Longboat Key, FL; brothers, Jeff Howe (Christine) of Pembroke, NH and Jim Howe (Terri) of Gilford, NH; sister, Jean Compton of Laconia, NH; and grandchildren, Drake, Olivia, Natalie, and Jack. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2015 at Bluffton United Methodist Church, 101 Calhoun Street, Bluffton, SC 29910.
