Janet Gefken Eick

Janet Gefken Eick of Bluffton, SC passed away in her home peacefully at the age of 91.  Born on Sep 7, 1932 in Maplewood NJ with an extensive historical Family Heritage.  Janet was a third generation florist, who’s family had endured a florist business since 1905.

Janet was predeceased by her late husband Edward F. Eick and is survived by her children.  Those of her children that supported and loved her unconditionally were: Her youngest son, Joseph Charles Eick of Bluffton her sole caregiver for several years, and Richard Eick.  Her other living sons were William Eick, Gerald Eick, Donald Eick, James Eick and Edward Eick.  She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

No funeral mass will be held and her remains will be laid to rest in a Memorial Garden which she and her last husband help design. Any donations can be made to Friends of Carolina Hospice for their professional and loving support.
