Janeth Scanlon Peterson

Janeth Scanlon Peterson, 81 of Bluffton and wife of Dr. Emil W. Peterson passed away on November 27, 2012 in the Coastal Carolina Medical Center, Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Neenah, Wisconsin on May 13, 1931 and was the daughter of the late William and Estelle Lollendorf Scanlon.She was a Dietician who interned at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL. She was a graduate of Andrews University of Berrien Springs, Michigan and received her masters of education from the University of Cincinnati. She continued with her graduate work at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. She participated in the Dial-A-Dietician consumer information service.She is survived by her husband, Dr. Emil W. Peterson of Bluffton; her son, Paul W. Peterson of Bluffton; her daughter, Lynn Ellen Peterson of Bluffton; and her brother, William Scanlon of Appleton, WI.
