Janice Carole Buckner Nix

Janice Carole Buckner Nix, 71, widow of Charles Lindberg Nix, passed away Saturday, October 08, 2011 at her home in Ridgeland, SC.She was born on November 10, 1939 in Dublin, GA, the daughter of Logan W. and Mary Durden Buckner.She was an accomplished homemaker and loving mother. She was a member of Robertville Baptist Church in Robertville, SC. She was a substitute mail carrier and postal clerk from 1963 until 1967. In 1974, she owned and operated a general merchandise store for 8 years. In 1983, she moved to Hilton Head, SC where she was employed by Lifecare Center of Hilton Head Island. She was the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry until her retirement after 17
