Jean Pierre Fille

Jean Pierre Fille born February 20, 1936, in Toulon, France and died September 3, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie Therese DaRosa Fille, son Patrick Fille, daughter in law Tracye Fille, Grandchildren Julien Michael Fille, and Danielle Rene Fille (Danielle's Husband Hunter Smith), Great Grandchildren Atlas Isaiah Smith and Clover Alice Smith, Nephews Michael and Claude Perrin.

Jean Pierre served in the French Navy as an Aircraft Mechanic, married the love of his life October 14, 1961, Maria Therese DaRosa Fille. He moved to the US in 1963 and later became a US citizen.

Jean Pierre was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved sports. He was a competitive diver and swimmer. Once retired, he loved watching sports on TV. He listened to classical music but mostly he loved spending time with his family, entertaining them and making them laugh.

He worked over fifty years in Food and Beverage starting out as a Maitre D at Brennan's in New Orleans expanding to Hilton Head, SC.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Church of the Trinity, Ridgeland, SC.
