Jean T. Fritz

Jean T. Fritz, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Staten Island, NY died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Mrs. Fritz was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Stanley and Joan Taylor. After raising her children Jean began working with Staten Island Savings Bank as a Teller, retiring in 1997 as an Assistant Manager. While living in Bluffton, she was active in the Sun City community and was a member of Church of the Palms. She enjoyed shopping and above all, spending time with her family.

Mrs. Fritz was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet M. Ogren; son-in-law, Bobby Ogren; and brother, Alan Taylor. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Fritz; daughter, Patti Keeley (Tom); son, Richard Fritz; grandchildren, Thomas (Christina), Colleen (Peter), Richard, Matthew, and Sarah; and her great-grandson which is expected soon.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at Church of the Palms, 1425 Okatie Highway, Okatie, SC 29909.
