Jean Kenyon

Jean Kenyon, age 75, passed away after a long battle with cancer at her home in Hilton Head, SC, with her family on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Over the past several weeks she was able spend precious time visiting with her husband, two sons, daughter-in-law’s, five grandchildren and brothers and sisters, which she all loved dearly. Jean was born in Hartford, CT, on September 6, 1942, grew up in Connecticut and married Patrick Kenyon 57 years ago. They have been long time residents of Moss Creek Plantation in Hilton Head, SC. Jean very much cherished her family and friends, enjoyed traveling, her bridge club, crocheting and watching her home makeover shows. She was so proud of her family and has passed along a wonderful heritage as evidenced by her grandchildren. Jean was born to Connie and Helen Majowicz and was the oldest of six children. Left to honor Jean and remember her love are her husband Patrick Kenyon, their two children, Kevin Kenyon, his wife Joellene and their children Parker and Gracyn, and Brian Kenyon, his wife Leigh Ann and their children Blake, Brooks and Brock; sisters Patty Argenta and Debbie McFarland, brothers Bob and Frank Majowicz, and nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and brother Eugene. The Kenyon family would like to extend our gratitude to all her dear friends, caregivers for their attentiveness, and to her grandson Blake for his loving care over the past months. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 10:30 am at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 Saint Gregory Drive, Bluffton, South Carolina, 29909.
