Jeffrey M. Newton

Jeffrey M. Newton, age 75, of Hilton Head Island, SC died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at home. Mr. Newton was born on January 20, 1942 in Reading, PA, the son of the late Frances and Johnny Newton. He is survived by his loving companion, Dr. Carolyn Ballard; son, Richard “Ric” Newton; step-daughter, Suzanne McCollum (Brian); brothers, Dr. Mark Newton (Marcy), Ronnie Newton (Martha), and Joel Newton (Kittie); sister, Carissa McSwain (Michael); and step-grandchildren, Brighton, Landry, and Blakely. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with a private celebration of life service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.
