Jeffrey J. Stoner

Jeffrey Jay Stoner, 54, of Vonore, TN and formerly of Goose Creek, SC and Ridgeland, SC, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his home.

Jeff was born March 4, 1966 in Waynesboro, VA to Christine Yeman Stoner and the late John Edwin Stoner. He had a passion for working on cars and enjoyed time in the outdoors, golfing, hunting and fishing. We wish he had gotten to do more of it all. In his early years, he spent many hours on race tracks, racing with his friends and creating so many memories. Jeff worked in crane engineering, most recently with Mammoet Crane as a project supervisor and engineer, although his coworkers would say he wore many more hats. His positions in crane engineering afforded him the opportunity to travel, visiting many countries such as Germany and Africa. Even still, there was no place like home for Jeff. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Christine of Goose Creek, SC, Jeff is survived by his wife, Cindy Morgan Stoner of Vonore, TN; son, Blake Stoner (Kathryn) of Ridgeland, SC; daughters, Nichole Pellow of Vonore, TN and Darci Powell of Brunswick, GA; brothers, Joel Stoner (Kim) of Goose Creek and John Stoner (Adrienne) of Summerville, SC; sister, Tracy Stoner of Apex, NC; grandchildren, John Avery, Kadence, and Elsie Mae; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland. Due to COVID regulations, social distancing and masks are required. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
