Jennie Grimes Gaylord

Jennie Grimes Gaylord, age 83, of Hardeeville, SC died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at home. Mrs. Gaylord was born on August 11, 1934 in Moncks Corner, SC. She was a longtime resident of Hardeeville, was a member of the Church of God, loved flowers and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 40 years, Horace Clifford Gaylord. She is survived by her children, Jackie Catterton, Billy Grimes, Betty Grimes, Vicky Dowell (Tony), Ricky Grimes, and Tony Gaylord (Marsha); and grandchildren, Richard Matthews, Tanya Matthews, Nicholas Arzillo, Anthony Arzillo, Stephanie Glessner, Crystal Dowell, Lee Dowell, Kayla Grimes, Justin Grimes, Josh Davenport, James Davenport, and Talon. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 West Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC 29936. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Purrysburg Cemetery in Hardeeville.
