Jenny Lou Herring

Jenny Lou Herring, 95, of Bluffton, SC passed away peacefully on April 23, 2020.  She was born on January 6, 1925 in Callahan, FL to the late Esther and Elliott Jones.  Jenny was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Willard Gray Herring. She also had 4 sisters and 1 brother precede her in death.   She is survived by her brother Elliott Jones, Jr. and her four sons Donald (Shirley), Tom (Sharry), David (Pam) and John (Cecilia), in addition to 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Jenny and Gray enjoyed many wonderful years together from living in Jacksonville and Cocoa, FL to Mobile, AL before retiring to Waynesville, NC and Callahan, FL.  They especially enjoyed living at Sun City Hilton Head from 2000-2015 where they participated in croquet, square dancing, and The Senior Olympics.

Jenny was an amazing lady, always grateful, kind and loving.  She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family and friends.
