Jerry William James

Jerry William James, 71, of Hardeeville, SC passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center, Savannah, GA.

Mr. James was born June 27, 1946 in Savannah, GA to the late Benjamin William James and Grace Hand James. He was a graduate of Groves-Clemson University and retired as a Maintenance Superintendent for Georgia-Pacific Corp. He was a Christian, a gun collector, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. James is survived by his former wife, Frankie C. James of Ridgeland, SC; sons, Jerry W. James, Jr. (Kara) of Hardeeville, Sc and Cody J. James of the U.S. Navy; and two grandchildren, Jesse James and Clayton James. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ben, Terry, and Glenn James.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 pm until the hour of the service.
