Jessie Mae Davis

Jessie Mae Davis, 73, of Furman, South Carolina, died Sunday morning October 13, 2019 at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina.

Jessie was born August 6, 1946 in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of the late Douglas and Myrtis Tuten. She was a bookkeeper for many years before retiring. She was an avid reader and a huge NASCAR fan.

Preceded in death are her parents; her husband Robert L. Davis; her sister, Elaine Rankin and her grandson, Ryan Price (Mr. P). Surviving in death are her daughters, Michele Mixon (Kevin) of Guyton GA and Leigh Wooten (Mark) of Nixville, SC; her grandchildren, Shelby Price of Savannah, GA, Mckayla Mixon of Guyton, GA, and Hunter Mixon of Guyton, GA; Davis Clifton of Summerville, SC; Morgan Clifton of Nixville, SC; Addison Wooten of Nixville, SC; great-grandchildren, Laikynn Mixon and Cohen Mixon; and her caregivers, Diane Johnson and Tabby Ginn.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Stafford Baptist Church Cemetery, Furman, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stafford Baptist Church.
