Jesus Ruiz

Jesus (Jay) Ruiz passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024.

Jay was born on June 14th, 1939 in Ponce, PR, grew up in New York City and married the love of his life, Olga Iris Ruiz, on November 18th, 1978. Jay was a talented jewelry model maker, whose ability to reflect the world around us in stunning designs was a joy to be observed by all. As a military veteran during the Vietnam era, he was proud to have served his country and held all military personnel in high regard. He was passionate about his family, enjoyed working in his yard, was always up for an adventure and to share a good laugh. He could spark a conversation with anyone and created lasting memories to all he knew. He lived a blessed life full of love, joy, laughter, and did it all in his own special way.

Jay is survived by his loving wife Olga and three sons Tony (and Joanna), Brian (and Kim) and Steven (and Danielle) Ruiz along with his many brothers, sisters, grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. His memory lives on in the hearts of all his loved ones.

A memorial service will be held for Jesus Ruiz on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton.
