Jo Soule Stephey

Jo Stephey, 77, of Bluffton, SC passed away at her home on April 2, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Atlanta, IL, a daughter of Opha and Howard Soule and formerly lived in Illinois, Connecticut, and California.Jo has been a resident of Sun City for 12 years. Her involvement in the community is illustrated by the many committees and task forces on which she has served as a member or past officer. She was elected to the Sun City Board of Directors in 2006 and again in 2011, serving as Vice President at the time of her death. Jo was nominated by Coastal Carolina Hospital to their Sun City Advisory Council in 2010.She retired from General Electric after a long career of field management, corporate staff support experiences, and operating dispersed customer service centers in 13 states.
