Joan Kathleen Tremitiere

Joan Kathleen Tremitiere, 79, of Hardeeville, SC, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Joan was born October 6, 1943 in Canonsburg, PA to the late Peter Linden and Irma Floyd Linden. Joan had a rewarding nursing career of 60 years, with the last several years working at Volunteers in Medicine Hilton Head. Her compassion for others was incredible. She was an active member at St. Anthony's Mission in Hardeeville and was a die-hard sports fan, especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Joan is survived by husband of 53 years, Larry Tremitiere; daughter, Heather Tremitiere Herbert and husband, Derick; two grandsons, Noah Herbert and Joshua Herbert; son, Bradley Tremitiere and wife, Tonya; brother, David Linden and wife, Marie; brother-in-law, William Tremitiere; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her father-in-law, Charles Tremitiere, and mother-in-law, Ruth Tremitiere.

A memorial mass will be held 10:30 am, Friday, August 18, 2023 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Bluffton, SC.
