Joanne Romaine Fraley

Joanne Romaine Fraley 83, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Bluffton, SC. Born August 16, 1931 in Dickson City, PA to the late Stanley and Josephine (Szymanowski) Lewandowski. Joanne is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Hechmer and Michele Fraley. Two sons John Fraley and Keith (Sharon) Fraley. Her nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Josey, Amanda and Patrick Hechmer, Nicholas, Alex, John and Gabrielle Fraley, Kylie and Adrienne Brant. Her three great grandchildren Victoria and Aiden Josey and Aiden Fraley. Her sister Shirley (Ted) Lewandowski. Nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Alfred, Francis and Edmund Lewandowski. Two sisters Rose Bogdanowicz and Stella Jacobs. Joanne was a member of the Bluffton Senior Center, she enjoyed doing word searches and watching birds. She loved all animals. She enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved going to craft festivals especially the Great Ogeechee Seafood festival and getting her funnels cakes. A memorial service will be held at St. Francis by the Sea Church on Friday September 12, 2014 at 10:30am followed by an inurnment at St. Francis Columbarium. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Pruitt Health/United Hospice.
