Joe Douglass Johnson, Ii

J.D. (Joe Douglas) Johnson, II, 51 died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  He was born on October 28, 1971 in Vincennes,  Indiana  to Joe Douglas Johnson and Beverly Johnson.

He attended North Know High school in Bicknell,  IN.

He was a concrete finisher and opened Johnson Concrete and Masonry here in the Lowcounty.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating, baseball, 4 wheeling and cooking for his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Kyle, the love of his life and his best canine companion, Stretch and their farm animals.

His Dad, Joe Johnson, of Vincennes,  IN and his mom, Beverly Johnson,  of Woodruff, SC.

Sheli Pleiss Sneddon (Michael) of Patterson, CA, and his nephews Mark, Bryan, Brayden, and Alex.

Rita Johnson Voedisch (Glenn Snow) of Greer, SC, and nephews, Cash and Carter.

Stepson, Jared Bowler (Darlene) of Kingsport, TN, and grandsons Riley and Camden.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Ryan S. Collins of Princeton, IN.

A memorial service will by held at 4PM on Saturday,  November 12, 2022 at J.D. and Vera's farm (224 Spanish Moss Rd, Ridgeland, SC), officiated by Pastor Jack Switzer.  Please join us for a Celebration of Life immediately following.
