John "Tony" Anthony Readinger

John (Tony) Anthony Readinger, 69, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2020. He was born to parents Charles and Mary Lou Readinger on February 24, 1951. Tony, a native of Bradenton, graduated from Manatee High School in 1969. He worked for GTE, now Verizon, as a lineman for 38 years before retiring and becoming transportation personnel for Freedom Village. Tony is survived by his wife Nanette Readinger, his four children Sarah Vinopal, Veronica Vinopal, Vinnie (Meghan) Vinopal, and Lainna (Matthew) McElhiney and five grandchildren, Nevaeh, Aevin, Walker, Carson, and Raevin. He is also survived by his Aunt Nell Shields of Palmetto and several cousins. Tony was known for his infectious laugh and fun-loving personality. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a passion for his family.  He spent many happy years being the best Papaw to his grandchildren who equally adored him. He was loved dearly and will be missed by so many.
