John Joseph Catona, Ii

John Joseph Catona, II. (63) of Hardeeville, SC joined his Heavenly Father on August 10, 2020.  He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 16, 1957.  John is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Jewell Catona of 19 years. He is also survived by his children, John Catona, III (Monica) of Wallingford, PA and Brittany Catona also of Wallingford.

John was employed by IBM as a sales representative. He was a graduate of Ridley High School in Philadelphia, and earned a MBA from the University of Miami while playing football. John also served in the US Navy where he played baseball. He was also a professional golfer.

John was a gourmet Italian chef and relished entertaining friends with his creations, especially homemade pizza. John enjoyed traveling to wondrous places.  He also delighted in his pet dogs Buffy and Ricky.

A service of remembrance will be held at Sauls Funeral Home Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 3:00 PM . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
