John Edgar Chadwick Iii

John E. Chadwick III, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Christmas Day while visiting family. John was born in Oakland, California and lived in Virginia, New York, North Carolina, with the last 20 years in the San Francisco Bay area. He was awarded a Bachelors Degree in Communications from North Carolina State University and worked as a land surveyor for many years. He was a dedicated father who loved nature including hiking, astronomy, photography, and playing with his children. John is survived by his loving wife, Leilanie, and sons Michael (12) and Patrick (4) of Union City, CA as well as his parents, John & Kathy Chadwick of Bluffton, SC, brother James (Claire) Chadwick of Charlotte, NC and Robert (Kristina) Chadwick of East Windsor, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Saint Andrew Chapel, 222 Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton, SC 29909.
