John Rollie Childers, Jr.

John Rollie Childers, Jr., 59, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at his home in Pineland, SC.He was born on January 16, 1951 in Gastonia, NC to the late John Childers, Sr. and Ruth Childers. He was a Truck Driver for Braxton Construction Company. He was a Baptist and a US Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He loved old cars and loved driving trucks.He is survived by his wife, Wanda Childers of Pineland, SC; his step mother, Mildred Childers of Pritchardville, SC; two sons, Anthony Davis and David Davis, both of Pineland, SC; one daughter, Vicki Davis of Sheldon, SC and sister, Kathy (Phil) Griffis of Tillman, SC.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Monday prior to the service at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W.
