John C. (Jack) Young

John C. (Jack) Young, 91, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at his home.He was born in Kearny, NJ on August 20, 1918. He was the son of the late William and Bessie Wanstal Young.He was a retired Industrial Engineer with A.T. & T for fifty one years. He was a Technical Delegate with the Official Federation of International Skiing. He was a member and Past President of the Industrial Engineers Association. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He was stationed in England as a Bombardier on B-17. He was hit by flak over Germany and spent thirteen months as a Prisoner of War.
