John Vernon Lemacks Jr., 35 of Springfield, GA passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.He was born in Walterboro, SC on September 5, 1976. He was the son of Beverly (Gail) Smith Lemacks and the late John Vernon Lemacks.He had a very successful landscaping business called Classic Home and Gardens. He loved the water. He was very involved with his children and their activities. He has a remarkable ability to fix anything. He loved people and especially his family.He is survived by his mother, Beverly (Gail) Lemacks of Walterboro, SC; his step father, James Polk of Walterboro, SC; two sons, Christopher Lemacks and Gabriel Lemacks both of Springfield, GA; one daughter, Cara Sanderson of Springfield, GA; one brother, Joey Polk of Walterboro, SC; one sister, Michelle Avery (Bennie Branham) of Bluffton, SC; and his soul mate, Laura Sanderson.Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, October 7, 2011 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8, Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Funeral Home.The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of John Vernon Lemacks Jr.
