John Michael Mcbride

John Michael McBride, 81 of Stanley, NY and Bluffton, SC passed away on January 21, 2017 at Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head, SC. Mr. McBride was born in New York City on August 18, 1935 to the late Charles T. McBride and Mary G. Butler McBride. He graduated from Delhi Technical College of Delhi, NY, served in the National Guard in Walton, NY, and worked as a Civil Engineer for the Delaware and Ontario County Highway Departments. He was a Private Pilot and belonged to the Penn Yan Flying Club. Mr. McBride is survived by his wife, Catherine T. McBride of Bluffton,SC/Stanley, NY; his daughters, Nancy Alexander (Bruce) of High Point, NC and Dianne Boss (Joel) of Lake Orion, Michigan; his brother, Charles T. McBride of Kingston, NY; his sisters, Helen Sacco of Hudson, NY, Susan Salem of Poughkeepsie, NY, Marjorie Harrington (Walter) of Summerton, SC, Barbara Ward (Arthur) of Youngsville, NY, and Katherine Maggiore (David) of Poughkeepsie, NY; grandchildren, Stephanie Bunting (John), Michael Smith (Amber), Jonathan Boss and Elizabeth Boss; and great grandchildren, Jack Bunting and Sterling Smith. Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
