John Matthew Tomasic

John Matthew Tomasic of Hilton Head, SC passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024. Born in Hokendauqua, PA he was the son of Anna and Andrew Tomasic. He was a graduate of Whitehall High School and Lehigh University. John served in the Navy during WW II and was a longtime resident of both Woodbury Hts., NJ and Sun City, South Carolina. In addition to his wife of 79 years Gloria (Dotter), he is survived by daughter Judy Franzini (Joe), son Jack Tomasic (Holly), and was preceded in death by daughter Carole Winter (Paul). He is also survived by four grandsons, John Friedrich (Jeanne), Steve Franzini (Amy), Chris Franzini, Matt Tomasic (Megan) and three great grandchildren, Jake, Max, and Kate. Additionally, he is survived by his sister Margaret Horwath and preceded in death by five brothers, Thomas, Michael, Andrew, Joseph, and George, as well as three sisters, Mary Hobel, Elizabeth Millen, and Theresa Rogers. Services will be held at a later date in Cape May, NJ.
