Jonpaul Gonzalez

We are immensely saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our son, JonPaul "Jonny / JP", at age 19, as the result of a tragic car accident. Juan Pablo Gonzalez Rizo and Christina Galbreath welcomed JonPaul into this world on November 24th, 2002. JonPaul was a happy, beautiful baby. His love for animals and others started at a young age, and his love for his brother Brandon began at his birth. Jonny loved his cousins immensely, was a best friend to many, and was adored by his campers. JP greatly enjoyed the game of soccer, playing video games, listening to music, the beach, traveling, and making family and friends smile and laugh - sometimes intentionally and sometimes just by being himself. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of JonPaul forever. He was an amazing young man with a beautiful smile and kind soul. He made an impression on the lives of everyone around him and will be forever missed. He is survived by a loving group of family, friends and teammates throughout the US, Mexico & Switzerland.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am til Noon on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Sauls Funeral Home Pavilion.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at St. Francis By The Sea Catholic Church, Hilton Head Island, SC.
