Joseph William Booth

Joseph William Booth, 67, passed away on Monday, January 29, at Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia.

Joe was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on February 3, 1956. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph William and Angela Gaggin Booth.

Joe was a graduate of Northern Valley Regional in Old Tappan, New Jersey, and was self-employed as a carpenter before his retirement. He was a resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina since 1976.

Joe is survived by his wife, Melinda (Betty) Lee; his children, Michael Thomas Booth and Rebecca Elizabeth Booth; his wife’s sons, James Brandon Lee and Jeremy Paul Lee (Nicole) and grandsons Manning Lee and Driver Lee. He is also survived by brothers Michael Booth, Stuart Booth (Lynn); sisters Brenda Booth Schneider (Thomas), Candice Booth Tate (Ken), Sharon Booth Huth (Steve), Kristin Booth Lentz (Brian), and fourteen nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Drydock at 840 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, on February 24, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
