Joseph R. “Joe” Nylund

Joseph R. “Joe” Nylund, age 65, of Bluffton, SC died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Mr. Nylund was born on April 4, 1952 in Hartford, CT, the son of the late A. Ralph and Ann Nylund. He worked as a manager at McDonalds for many years and later worked as a CNA in Bluffton until his health forced him to retire. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Traci Nylund; daughters, Nicole Nylund and Jessica Zanandrea; son, Joseph A. Nylund; brothers, John Nylund (Beverly) and Ralph Nylund (Joyce); sisters, Marie Hanelius (Bill) and Nancy McHale (Bob); and grandson, Aiden Zanandrea. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
