Joseph Lee Lewis

Joseph Lee Lewis was born in Winston-Salem, NC on March 11, 1984 and grew up in Stokes County, NC. Joe died suddenly Sunday, April 3, 2022 in Ridgeland, SC, where he had made his home. Joe enjoyed being in the outdoors and did landscaping work for most of his life.

For two years, in his early teens, Joe lived with Olie and Rose Orsino on High Rock Lake in Denton, NC. While living with the Orsinos, Joe attended South Davidson High School. He remained a part of the Orsino family for many years.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe and Sandra Merrille Lewis. Joe is survived by his son, Hayden Shay Lewis of Bluffton, SC; brothers, Billy (Amber) Lewis, Brad, Donnie, and Bobby Driver; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Stephanie.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Cornerstone Church, 1300 May River Rd, Bluffton.
