Joseph James Morrone

Joseph James Morrone, age 64, passed away suddenly on September 10, 2016 with his beloved wife, Barbara, by his side. He was born on May 23, 1952 to Joseph F. Morrone and the late Alma Morrone of Pittsburgh, PA. He moved to Bluffton, SC in 2005.

Joe graduated from Montour High School in Pittsburgh, PA in 1970 and attended Clarion State College. He married Barbara Henderson in Pittsburgh in 1975. Joe was a sales representation for his entire career and was employed by Expert Laser Services of the Low Country since 2007.

Joe was a devout Christian and loved serving at Low Country Community Church in Bluffton, SC. He was passionate about the Bible, NASCAR, politics, crossword puzzles, and reading.

Joe is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons Cale, Dana, and Aaron; father, Joseph; and sisters, Linda Groznik, Sally Hartwick, Rozie Donovan, and Shirley Bennaugh.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at Noon until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
