Joseph Carroll Sims

Please join us in loving memory of Joseph C. Sims (Joe) 0f Bluffton, SC.

Joseph was born in Portalis, NM to Houston C. Sims and Ida J. Sims.

He served in the USN as a missile tech on submarines for 7-1/2 years and served in the reserves for 3 years as Chief Petty Officer.

He worked for Compugraphic and Kodak as a graphic engineer until his retirement.

Joe loved the game of golf and was a member of Pinecrest Golf Club where he made many friends.

Joseph leaves his loving wife Mary of 55 years, daughter Michele A. Sims and son Michael A. Sims, and daughter-in-law Kathy. One grandson, Nicholas C. Jelley.  A sister Esther M. Sims Peters and brother-in-law Harold Peters and many nieces and nephews.  He also leaves a brother-in-law, John Grace.

He was predeceased by sister Cora E. Sims Grace.

A celebration of life is planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association.
