Joseph R. Timbo, Jr.

Joseph R. Timbo, Jr., age 61, of Hilton Head, SC and formerly of Lansdale, PA died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at home.

Mr. Timbo was born on December 11, 1957 in Hackensack, NJ, the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Timbo. He attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and following his formal education, worked as a tax consultant for many years. He was the owner of JR Timbo and Associates and was a member of the Italian American Club of Hilton Head Island as well as the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and collecting instruments.

Mr. Timbo is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Peggy Sue Timbo; sons, Joseph Timbo, III (Kayla) and Bobby Timbo (Ellie Bibeau); daughter, Tanya Tumas (Bill); brothers, Robert Timbo and Richard Timbo (Bridgett); and granddaughter, Paige.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2019 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the American Heart Association.
