Joseph Robert Yelinko

Joseph R. Yelinko, 79 of Bluffton, South Carolina passed away on June 19, 2022.

Joseph was born in New Jersey where he lived most of his life before moving to Bluffton in 2009.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Maureen; his daughter Erin and her husband Stephen Young, his grandchildren Jack and Lauren Young of Georgia; his son Ryan Yelinko, his grandchildren Maela and Jenek Yelinko of New Hampshire; brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Kathleen Cartright of New Jersey; James and Dawn Puckhaber of Florida.  He will be missed by his canine buddy Rocco.

Joseph retired from IBM as a systems analyst.  He served in the US Army, N.J. Division of the National Guard.

“Jersey Joe” as he was known, loved to play golf, cards, travel and talking with people, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

A private service for the family will be held at later date.
