Joyce Loraine Gray King

Joyce Gray King, 80, died peacefully at her home in Ridgeland, SC on Wednesday, June 19, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ridgeland, SC on January 1, 1933 to the late Wilton Joseph Gray and Hazel Ernestine Wall Gray. She was the widow of Reverend Robert L. King, who pastored a church in Ridgeland for many years. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Ray) Haymans and Sandra (Chuck) Cothran of Ridgeland, son Robert R. King of Lexington, SC, her sister Susan Young of Beaufort, SC, grandchildren, Charity Cleland, Amy Graven, Heather Wood, Angela Grant, Phillip Cothran, Stephen Cothran and nine great grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered for her kind, compassionate nature and her faithful devotion as a Christian. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
