Joyce Marie Hayes

Joyce Marie (Welch) Hayes, 74, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024, in Hilton Head, SC surrounded by family. She was born on February 25, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan to Arnold and Opal (Carmack) Welch.

Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, and businesswoman. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 36 years, Roger Hayes, and children Michele Newkirk, Julie (Michael Washington) Newkirk Washington, Courtney (Craig Thompson) Hayes, Christopher Hayes, and Daniel (Cynthia Garber) Hayes. Her cherished grandchildren include Michael Langston Washington, Alice Washington, and Aria Thompson.
