Juanita Murdaugh

Juanita “Nita” Winn Murdaugh, 80, of Bluffton, SC, widow of Thomas W. Murdaugh “Buddy”, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center of Savannah, GA.

Nita was born May 10, 1940 in Hampton, SC to the late Barney Henry Winn and Sally Beverly Winn. She was a homemaker, taking great joy in spending time with her family and caring for her loved ones. She was a member of Church of the Cross in Bluffton.

Nita is survived by her children, Veleta Larsen, Kevin Murdaugh, and Sean Murdaugh; grandchildren, Amber, Chelsea, Marisa, Kyle, Zachery, Keri, and Trevor; great-grandchildren, Bella, James, Arianna and Asher; niece, Wendy Kennedy; great-nieces, Brittani, Giulana, Regan, Hannah, and Grace; and great-nephew, Brandon. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael W. Murdaugh.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 pm at Lawtonville Cemetery, Estill.
