Judith "Judy" Ann Madison

Judith (Judy) Ann Madison, 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully at home on March 17 ^th , 2022. Her battle with anaplastic thyroid cancer proved her resilience and trust in the Lord.

She was born on April 4 ^th , 1947, at Sibley hospital in Washington DC to the late John Ellsworth Botts Sr. and Doris Elizabeth Blubaugh Botts. She was raised in Avondale, MD and she is a graduate of Northwestern High School. Judy loved her family greatly. She lived to do things for her family, friends, and others in need. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals, watching the food network, baking, gardening, dancing, being with her family and friends, helping others in need and worshiping the Lord. Judy was a light everywhere she went always serving for the Lord and sharing the gospel with everyone she met whether it was a waitress or a nurse. She loved the Lord and walked daily with him.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents John Ellsworth Botts Sr., Doris Elizabeth Blubaugh-Botts, and brother John Ellsworth Botts Jr. She is survived by her husband Harlen Madison Sr, sisters Joan and Bill Uphoff, Janet Sue Botts Tripp, and Jennifer and Ernie Jumalon. Her oldest son Michael and Judy Garilli, Robert Garilli, Elizabeth Garilli, Angela and Howard Mariott. Her grandchildren Katherine Garilli, Tony Garilli, Alexandra and Jason Swett, Kristen Mariott, Kayla Garilli, John Glenn Mariott, Jordan Wade, Jaiden Reynolds, and several nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

The family will receive family and friends on March 24 ^th , 2022, for a visitation at Community Bible Church at 10:00 AM, 638 Parris Island Gateway, Beaufort SC 29906. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow for family.
