Julia Lee Phillips Dennings

Julia Lee Phillips Dennings, 81, of Ridgeland, SC passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was the daughter of Joseph H. and Elta Crow Phillips.

Julia is survived by one sister, Jackie Calloway (Floyd) of Century, FL; one brother, Joe Phillips (Donna) of MT; one grandson, Robert Kamp of Brooklet, GA; a special niece, Teresa Kleckley (Dan) of Ridgeland, SC; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Strickland, Sr.; son, Robert Strickland, Jr.; sister, Judy Phillips Smith; and brothers, Jim Phillips and Johnny Phillips.

Julia was a jack of all trades, working for many years in a variety of fields. Her favorite thing to do was cook for and spend time with her family and dogs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, April 15, 2022 at Ridgeland Cemetery, Ingram St., Ridgeland. The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 pm until the hour of the service at the cemetery.
