Karen Marie Friday, born September 25th, 1962, is remembered for her loving kindness, her unending generosity, and a heart that cared for everyone. Open and honest, caring and passionate, Karen was always ready with a hug. And if you stayed long enough, you’d probably leave her presence with an armful of plants and cuttings, piled high with flowers and greenery to create your own personal greenhouse. Her green thumb was the envy of everyone around, but her flowers always brought joy. She leaves behind a loving soulmate of 37 years, a daughter who will miss her every day, and two granddaughters who will always hold her close in their memories and in their hearts. Karen was a bright light, glinting no matter what life threw her way. She was strong, protective, resilient, fiercely loyal, and unbelievably open-hearted. We’ll miss you. Always.
