Karen Sally Cantor

Karen Sally Cantor passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 6. Born on June 4th of 1944 in the Bronx, New York, she was the oldest child of Irma and Bernard Lewis.

She follows her husband, Kenneth Charles Cantor, who passed on November 22, 2012 and her daughter, Ilyse Cantor Queen, who passed away Feb. 23, 2014.

Karen is survived by her son, Philip Cantor, and his wife Michelle, who live in Smyrna, GA. She is also survived by brother Warren Lewis, sister Irene Lewis, great niece Jordan Ockovcin and her husband Bubby, and Jordan’s four children.

She was known well by friends and family for being everyone’s mother. Her Italian Feast Nights were legendary for their made from scratch deliciousness.

Every holiday season, she would make tins of cookies to be handed out Kenny’s friends and business associates.

She owned and operated The Habersham Plantation Country store in Altamonte Mall in Altamonte Springs, FL for a number of years and served as Kenny’s office manager until he retired. She spent her last years doting over her great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:30 am, Thursday, July 9th, 2026 at Sauls Funeral Home on Simmonsville Road in Bluffton, SC.
